A lot of my digital work is inspired by Japanese art, both modern and traditional. My influences include Katsushika Hokusai, Hishikawa Moronobu and Kitagawa Utamaro (ukiyo-e - pictures of the floating world/wood block artists), Koga Harue, Yumiko Kayukawa (surrealism) and more modern artists such as Chiho Aoshima, Makoto Muramatsu, Yoshitomo Nara and Akira Toriyama (digital art/manga). Spooky Black Noodles presents a geisha, elegantly poised taken over by  dark, flowing noodles that twist and curl in an enchanting dance. 

The intricate details capture the essence of manga aesthetics, with the geisha's delicate kimono adorned in vibrant hues that contrast beautifully against the midnight black of the noodles.
